Holiday Letter To Tanzania Start Ups
Dear Tanzania startup,
Thank for your continuous hard work in solving our businesses and community daily problems. Your passion and determination to make a better Tanzania are overwhelmed and as Tanzanian, I sincerely appreciate that.
Refusal to be defined by your history to what you intend to do is so inspiring. Your push despite limited resources to execute your groundbreaking ideas gives hope that we can be where we want to be soon. Your humility to a startup environment that many don’t understand and appreciate path the way to prosperous future of Tanzania innovation.
Be assured that your efforts to make calls and code, your time to network and attend meetings, your saving spent creating a product that you’re not sure people will care about, your confusion on your service value, you’re fights with the team members and all the hustles will never go in vain. Someday, somewhere it will pay you off.

My dear social startup, in the name of our founding national father, I greet you. It’s inspiring to hear your stories of how you solve the problem for better Tanzania. Your last stories keep repeating in my head. I remember you said you’re working on a product that will help my grandmother to sell her agricultural products on the mobile phone that I bought for her, am I correct? Have you ever visited her during your product development? What was her response? Would be great to hear her feedback.
My dear social startup, don’t get tired of my questions. Let’s talk about the product you launched last month — Beauty and Brain a product for girls the like of my young sister to access information about schools and her health needs. Did you get time to talk to her on your product as you planned? She always surprises me at how much she knows what she wants. Am not sure if your product met her needs if you haven’t talked to her
My dear one, I know you want time off to go on twitter and see what is happening over there. Can you hold on for some time, I have the last question. As we approach the business year, have you met with your team to reflect on your customer needs before deciding the next move? If yes go and buy Christmas suit. If not, put your twitter off and call for team meeting right now. Otherwise, I wish you A Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New year 2020.
